GHD - Seven Springs Medical Centre

Soiltech were engaged by GHD to undertake a geotechnical assessment for the multi-million dollar Seven Spring Medical Centre on Ruthven Street Toowoomba. At the former Walsh’s Seeds site, seven boreholes up to 8m deep were undertaken within the footprint of the proposed building. Testing comprised of Standard Penetration Test (SPT), Moisture Content, Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP), Shrink Swell Index, Atterberg Limits and California Bearing Ratio (CBR).
