New Hope Group - Coal To Liquids Processing Plant

Soiltech were engaged by New Hope Group to undertake a geotechnical assessment for the Coal To Liquids (CTL) Plant at the Jeebropilly Coal Mine, approximately 18km west of Ipswich. Nine boreholes up to 6m deep were undertaken within the footprint of the proposed buildings. Testing comprised of Standard Penetration Test (SPT), Moisture Content, Shrink Swell Index and California Bearing Ratio (CBR).
