With a history extending back to the early 1980's, Soiltech is well known and trusted in the Toowoomba and surrounding communities. The company has been involved in Civil & Goetech testing since 1986 and is the preferred supplier of these services to many of the district's leading builders, developers and local authorities.

Soiltech offers a broad range of services including site investigations, construction testing and concrete testing.

Our staff have a depth of experience in all these areas and are equipped, qualified and ready to provide a high quality, comprehensive testing service to clients.

Introducing the Team:

Director / Supervisors

Graeme Sheppard – Is the managing director of Soiltech and took ownership of the company in 2001 in that time has focused on quick, effective service delivery. Graeme has 40 years experience in the industry and has qualifications in civil engineering and business management.

Paul Sheppard – Is the Geotechnical Supervisor of Soiltech and has over 7 years experience in laboratory and field testing and since his time as geotechnical supervisor has maintained a high level of customer service and has expanded soiltech’s drilling & testing capabilities. Paul has also provided clients with reliable and useful information on many building / commercial / industrial sites. Paul’s qualifications include a Cert III in construction testing and a BSA Classifiers License.

Ben Davidson – Is the Construction Supervisor of Soiltech and has over 6 years experience in the industry. Ben has experience in field and laboratory testing with regards to many local Sub Divisional / Commercial and Mining projects. Ben’s Qualifications include a Cert III in construction testing , Level 2 Industrial Radiation Safety, NATA’s ISO/IEC 17025 and he is currently undertaking a Cert IV in business management.

Office Management

Stephanie Sheppard – Is Office Manager and has been working with Soiltech for over 4 Years and is currently undertaking a degree in Physiology at USQ.

Sarah Deoberitz – Is the Office Administrator and has been working with Soiltech for a little over 2 and a half years.

Technicians

Drew Obst – Is Soiltech’s Senior Technician and has been working in the industry for 5 years and has a wide experience in geotechnical and construction testing. Drew Qualifications include a Cert III in construction Testing & Level 2 Industrial Radiation Safety certificate.

Kyle Zielke – Is a technician with Soiltech and has been working in the industry for a little over 3 years with a strong interest in geotechnical site investigations and he is currently completing a Cert III in construction Testing.

Tim Miller - Is a technician with Soiltech and has been working in the industry for a little over 2 years and he is currently completing a Cert III in construction Testing.
